  • ChatGPT for macOS version and build when the issue involves importing a theme.
  • Clear steps that reproduce the problem.
  • A screenshot when it helps explain what appeared on screen.

Quick import check

  1. Choose a theme in Vibe in Color and select Copy for ChatGPT.
  2. Open ChatGPT for macOS → Settings → Appearance.
  3. Use Import on the matching Light theme or Dark theme card, paste, and choose Import theme.

Version 0.5.0 passed the automated codex-theme-v1 format validator for all 300 bundled themes and the three-font import, export, inheritance, and migration cases. The last recorded maintainer import check was for Vibe in Color 0.4.0 with ChatGPT for macOS 26.727.51351, build 6119.

Font settings

Use Interface for sidebar text and controls, Content for the conversation, and Code for snippets and diffs. Content starts with Same as Interface; choose a family to separate it, or select that row again to follow Interface.

Each theme remembers its font families and styles. Preview size affects Vibe in Color’s preview and is not exported. If an imported font is unavailable on your Mac, the preview uses a system font while preserving the original choice for export.
